CAMP ROCK.
Yes... I saw Camp Rock, okay? I just wanted to see what all of the fuss was about. And after seeing it... wow. I don't mean to offend, but...wow, I still don't see what the fuss is about, I'll say that. It was a story about how a young girl (named Mitchie-which is an extremely normal name for a girly fifteen-year-old, in OPPOSITE World!) finds herself at a rock camp, making all sorts of friends, songs, and lies! Good times. That's right, children! Go lie to people! GO! Lie to your friends and everyone around you, whatever it takes to be 'popular'.
There's another thing, this girl is FIFTEEN! Writers, do you honestly believe a girl of her years who has aspirations of being a rock star would tell people about how she wants to "be popular" so badly? Do you people HAVE any children? Thirteen-year-olds are smart enough not to care about that (I hope, you never know anymore).
Now, don't go thinking this is a bad movie for children yet, there's not any kissing, and the good main characters call the bad characters "JERKS" in every poorly acted argument. But on the bright side, Mitchie's (
Okay, I admit, that WAS a little harsh. It's not that everyone else couldn't act, it's just that they didn't do it all that well. I don't know, maybe I have something against Disney. No, I'm just kidding. But I do wish I could just appreciate the effort these teens put into these DCOMs (Disney Channel Original Movie -yeah, I know terms!). But over all of the criticism and cheesiness, it ended up well for me and the Disney-Fans! Joe Jonas didn't kiss Demi Lovato in the movie. Or maybe he did, and they edited it out or something...hmm, food for thought. I'm not going to lie-Joe's a little cute. You have to admit it. I have to admit it.
On the Disney scale of things, I rate this...

OH! Three AND a half! Because, truth be told, I liked this movie, despite all of its faults. It was all right. Not at all in the grand scheme of things, not Oscar-worthy, but for Disney: It was a smart move. Especially since they have all of these products to scam childran with now!
So do yourself a favor, and don't let my negetivity effect you. Go, see the movie. I want to spred the Disney love! AHHCK! What am I saying?
